Curitiba is the capital of Paraná, being the octave populous city in Brazil and the biggest southern Brazil, with a population of 1,746,896 inhabitants.

Over the last few years the Capital of Paraná has been consolidated as the richest city in the South country and the 4th nationally.

Was founded by Portuguese’s colonists in the 17th century, Curitiba has a vat and eclectic culture, and has a strongly influenced by Italian immigrants. Germans, Poles and Ukrainians, most of the population is descends form them. This fact is soon noticed when you incoming and note the architecture, cuisine and customs.   

Curitiba trials a lot of urban planing and laws in order to hold the uncontrolled growth, this led her to be internetionally famous for its urban innovations. Curitiba was mentioned in a recent survey published by Forbes Magazine as the 3rd cleverest city in the world, which considers smart the citys that cares to be ecologically sustainable, quality of life, good infrastructure and economic dynamism.

 

What to do in Curitiba

The Tourism Line is a special bus line, that circulates in the main sights of Curitiba. You can know the parks , squares and attractions. Considered one of the best in the country , the line runs each 30 minutes , traveling approximately 44 km in about 2 hours. The tour starts in the Tiradentes Square but you can start the course in any specific bus stations. To board you buy a pack with 5 tickets and you due to a boarding and 4 re – embarkation . The bus are equipped with sound system to provide recorded information about the places visited in three languages ​​- Portuguese , English and Spanish . Get to Khow  the Tourism Line and enjoy a beautiful walk through the sights of Curitiba
